What I’m Making for Easter This Year

What I’m Making for Easter This Year

Easter always seems to sneak up on me.

I don’t love complicated menus or fussy recipes. I love dishes that feel special but are actually doable.

So instead of sending you a giant list of ideas, I’m sharing what I personally make for Easter.

These are the recipes that show up on our table year after year.

When it comes to the actual meal, I keep it simple but special.

Nothing overly complicated — just dishes that feel a little elevated but are still completely doable.

Here’s what rounds out our Easter table:

🍖 Phyllo Pork Tenderloin with Mushroom Gravy
Elegant enough for Easter, but easy to pull off.

🥓 Brown Sugar Bacon Green Beans
Sweet, savory, and always scraped clean.

🍞 Buttery Monkey Bread (Savory Pull-Apart Bread)
Not the cinnamon kind — soft, buttery, and perfect for passing around the table.

🥗 Strawberry Pie Filling Salad
Bright, nostalgic, and the perfect balance to all the warm dishes.

And of course, dessert is never optional.

Easter Desserts That Always Disappear First

If I’m in charge of dessert (which I usually am 😉), these are the ones that never make it to leftovers:

Strawberry Pound Cake Trifle
Chessman Banana Pudding
Strawberry Gooey Butter Cake
Four Layer Delight

Pretty. Easy. Crowd-approved.

Easter Looks Different Every Year

Easter has looked different in different seasons of my life.

Some years it’s a big, loud table full of people.
Some years it’s quieter and simpler.

But the one thing that stays the same?
I want it to feel peaceful.

If you’re hosting this year, I hope these recipes help you keep it simple and actually enjoy the day.

If you're still deciding on dinners for next week ...

I send a weekly dinner box with simple, family-friendly meal ideas plus a bonus recipe so you are not starting from scratch.

Wishing you a peaceful Easter,

Jennifer Smith
